News out of Mexico. A powerful earthquake rocked Mexico’s southwest coast today. A magnitude 7.6 earthquake was recorded in the southern part of the country. It struck this afternoon in the state. It could be felt as far as Mexico City. Like reports, the quake arrives on the anniversary of two earlier devastating lakes. Everything is flying around. Social media lit up with science shaking at the airport, equipment and the offices moving and people poking waiting for it to stop. From hotel rooms to the streets of Mexico City, a 7.6 magnitude quake left everyone shaken. The earthquake struck just after 1:00 p.m. Local time, more than 200 miles south, 400 miles west of Mexico City on the coast but alarms went off in both cities.
History
